“ Great local bakery to stop in for good sandwiches, salads, and soups. I also buy my breads here weekly; quality ingredients and always fresh! The place has a classic neighborhood bakery/deli feel to it. Just the kind of place to step away from the daily grind. ”
“ Spectacular Breads! The Rye is so very special, just like an east coast rye. And the Sourdough is equally delicious, like it was brought from San Francisco. ”
“ The best soup & sandwich shop in the valley! I have been coming here for years and the quality of food & fast service has never wavered. A half sandwich is huge. ( I am partial to their chicken salad on their fresh nine grain bread. ) Today I drove over to Scottsdale specifically for some hot soup to commemorate the first rain here in 5 months. Selection changes daily so today I chose chicken noodle. You also get to choose what type of bread to go with soup. Delicious! ”
“ We stopped here to get some sourdough bread and realized they have delicious looking sandwiches. We had already eaten so will have to return to try it. However, we managed to grab some pea soup and it was yummy. Will update once we tried more things. Enjoy!! ”
“ The vibes of this place give old school diner and I love it. The service is great and the food is even better!! If you want freshly baked bread this is the place to go. I enjoy their chicken noodle soup - a classic. All of their breads are delicious! I always look forward to visiting here. ”
“ Had been here once a really long time ago. Decided to try for dine in lunch today. We tried a club sandwich on honey wheat. Very tasty ! Sandwiches are enormous. Half would be plenty for most. I tried the combo cup of soup and chicken salad. It was delicious. Came with your choice of yummy fresh sliced bread. Friendly and accommodating service. Comfortable and pleasant dining area. Self-serve beverages. Only negative was staff clean up of dining area including chairs put up on tables started more than 30 minutes before closing time. I'd like to come back for breakfast. Also to buy a loaf of that wonderful cranberry orange bread. Sooo good! ”
“ The food is always amazing! It my favorite place to meet my daughter for lunch. Super fast, always delicious. The portions are huge! A half of a sandwich is really the size of a full sandwich. Their soups are always delicious too. I have never tried a salad because half of the fun is seeing what bread is available that day! All have been delicious!! ”
“ I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this restaurant yet. We seriously order delivery from them at least once a week or more. My hubbie is an ER dr who comes home exhausted & just wants to eat a great dinner & go to bed. The soups from here are complete dinners. I have ordered sausage , beans ( he adores) lasagna & meat , garden veg , clam chowder. & others. The bowl is a full meal for him w the sour dough bread. Plus the chicken salad is A ++++. The tuna is also great & the egg salad. Raisin challah is superb on Fridays. Highly recommend this restaurant !! ”
“ It was family homemade pasta night, and it was my responsibility to bring "crusty bread". I wanted to bring bread that was eccentric and electric. Bread from Safeway was not going to cut it and farmers market dominant Proof & Noble Bread are not nearby. I came across Arizona Bread Co, a locally owned mom n pop bakery and restaurant. I rolled up to the counter but was amazed to see how busy the restaurant was on a Saturday morning. The menu looks nice, I'd definitely be interested in giving it a try. I ordered a large sourdough bread, which was sliced for me at the shop. The bread was very good and was a hit within the family. It's nice to know that good local bread is so close. ”
